Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) – Ensuring Your Business Continuity

Disaster Recovery as a Service provides business continuity for IT systems in the event of a failure, cyberattack, or disaster. Restore your business operations in minutes, not days.

What is DRaaS?

DRaaS (Disaster Recovery as a Service) is a service that ensures the continuity of business IT systems. In the event of a failure, cyberattack, fire, or another disaster, DRaaS enables the rapid recovery of systems in a backup data center. It is a natural extension of backup solutions – backup protects data, while DRaaS ensures the continuity of business processes.

How does DRaaS work?

  • 1 Analysis of the IT infrastructure and critical systems
  • 2 Development of a Disaster Recovery plan (RTO/RPO)
  • 3 Configuration of replication to our Data Center
  • 4 Continuous replication of data and configurations
  • 5 Regular failover tests without impacting production systems
  • 6 In the event of a failure – launching systems in our Data Center
  • 7 Failback to the original location once the issue has been resolved

Benefits of DRaaS

  • RTO from 15 minutes – rapid service restoration
  • RPO from seconds – minimal data loss
  • No costs associated with maintaining your own DR infrastructure
  • Regular DR testing without risk
  • Protection against ransomware, failures, and disasters
  • 24/7 support during failover
  • Monthly payment model – no large upfront investments

DRaaS Security

DRaaS replication uses end-to-end encryption. Data in our Data Center is protected by multi-layered security measures: physical access control, 24/7 monitoring, and ISO 27001 certifications. Network isolation ensures that your DR systems are separated from those of other customers. Regular security testing and audits are performed.

Backup Data Center Location

Your DR systems are hosted in our Tier III Data Center in Poland. Geographic separation from your primary location provides protection against regional disasters. Redundant power supply, cooling systems, and internet connectivity ensure 99.982% availability.

Frequently asked questions

Backup protects data – you can restore it after a failure. DRaaS protects business continuity – you can run entire systems (servers, applications, and networks) in a backup location. DRaaS is an extension of backup, not a replacement for it.

Typical RTO (Recovery Time Objective) for DRaaS is 15–60 minutes. For critical systems, an RTO of less than 15 minutes can be achieved. The exact recovery time depends on the complexity of the infrastructure and specific requirements.

Yes, regular DR testing is essential and is included as part of the service. We conduct non-disruptive failover tests to confirm the readiness of DR plans.

After the issue has been resolved, we perform a failback – migrating systems back to your primary location. The process is planned and carried out within an agreed maintenance window.
